Alto-Shaam Celebrates 70 Years of Innovation at NAFEM 2025

Celebrating its 70th anniversary at NAFEM 2025, Alto-Shaam will be showcasing innovations like the latest Cook & Hold ovens, multi-cook ovens, and Prodigi™ combi ovens.

(Booth 724, NAFEM, Atlanta, Georgia, February 26-28, 2025) - Alto-Shaam is kickstarting its 70th anniversary at the North American Association of Food Equipment Manufacturers (NAFEM) show, showcasing cutting-edge kitchen equipment solutions.

In 1955, Alto-Shaam Founder Jerry Maahs invented a holding solution to keep chicken hot for delivery as a restaurant operator. His invention led to the creation of gentle, radiant Halo Heat® technology and the original Cook & Hold oven—creating a new category in the industry. This spirit of innovation continues to drive Alto-Shaam forward today.

"We're excited to mark our 70th anniversary at NAFEM," said Alto-Shaam CEO Steve Maahs. "Alto-Shaam began with my father's idea, turned into an invention. His mission to support the foodservice industry continues with our expert team. We look forward to showcasing our equipment solutions at the show."

At NAFEM booth #724, Alto-Shaam will display its latest Cook & Hold ovens with advanced controls. Visitors can also explore Alto-Shaam's pioneering multi-cook ovens, which cook multiple foods simultaneously at its ideal settings with no flavor transfer. Alto-Shaam's new Prodigi™ combi ovens, designed for efficiency, reliability and quality, will also be showcased, including new ENERGY STAR® certified models.

The Alto-Shaam booth will be interactive, with a section dedicated to ChefLinc™, its cloud-based remote oven management system. Visitors will be able to view the real-time status of ovens throughout the booth and experience the simplicity of pushing and pulling information and recipes to and from the ovens.

Alto-Shaam’s global team of chefs will be providing live cooking demonstrations of equipment solutions throughout the event, with a focus on enhancing foodservice operations and offerings, and tips for maximizing food quality and reducing costs.
